| Job Summary: The Sales Application Engineer (SAE) provides technical sales and full product lifecycle technical support for portfolio of solutions. Partners with Account Managers, Business Unit Managers, and Systems Engineers to prospect and qualify opportunities, expand the sales funnel, and close sales. Acts as the technical support focal for prospective and current customers, converting technical solutions into value propositions. Provides field upgrades, troubleshooting, technical presentations, demos, and supports trade shows. Constantly evaluates market, industry, and competitive intelligence to inform strategies for proposals, pursuits, and product roadmap. Supports SOW compliance and technical compliance inputs to ensure offerings align with requirements. Provides input into product offering strategies and helps define winning solutions for customers. | |||
